Following the evaluation, a new draft Strategy for Regional Development and eight new programmes for development for the planning regions are to be developed. |

Advice provided on monitoring and licensing functions in industry, water management and energy sectors, development of Local Environmental Action Plans, and the First Communication for UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. |
